Here are my 94 words. I really really hope you like my attempt.

SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN

The old workshop was ideal for him. He could work in peace and no one ever went there, not even when the town’s children started going missing. Why would they? The workshop had been abandoned for years now.

The police said they had no idea if the children were dead or alive.

Oh, they’re alive, he smirked to himself. Barely.

Years ago, ten cruel middle-schoolers and their followers had ruined his school life. Now their children would have to pay.

He smiled and sharpened his knife. Suffer the little children.

Hi! I'm Sam, an 18 year old certified mad chick who likes to imagine that she can write. I live in India, a colourful, diverse country which is sadly getting polluted everyday by more and more violence....something no citizen can be proud of. I enjoy reading-basically horror, watching romcoms and horror flicks(yes, again horror, my favourite being Sinister- its psychotic just like me), eating( food, oh yes, I love foooooood), attending college, and most of all(oh, do stay and listen a while longer) I love animals. I have periodic urges to own and look random "pets". Currently I wish to own a baby elephant, which I will name Thama. I write to express what I feel, to keep that small creative bone alive in my body, and to make readers happy. I hope you like what I write!

  3. That is a seriously chilling tale, Sam. And so cleverly told. Well done.

  4. I’m reading how children were treated in the time of the Roman Empire’s cruelest moments. It was NOT pretty.
Your submission this week reminded me.

However, I could see you even maybe having fun writing this,
almost like an exerpt from a longer story, say 5,000 words? hehehe!

  5. Dark, but good revenge – good story on the prompt picture – I think you could make a good story out of this – I would like to read it! Nan

  6. Dear Tinkerbelle,

Your are a wicked little fairy, aren’t you? I mean this in a good way. So dark, but so well done.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

  7. The story was disturbing, but in the horror genre it would be expected. It was well written. I hope a super detective comes to the rescue of those poor children.

  8. What a chilling story!

  9. Lovely ending to my reading of the FF stories this week…NOT. 🙂 Well-written horror, though.

  10. That was dark and chilling, but a great story!

  11. Very chilling. The sins of the father often fall to the children to repay. Good story.

  12. True to life, sadly. Adults should beware of their actions because the children often pay for the wrongs done to others.

  14. Motive, method, and revenge. You told a good, chilling story here. Kudos.

  16. SO… I can’t help but wonder how he was ridiculed as a child and how his crime(s) unraveled.

Always good to leave them wanting more 🙂

  17. Now I’m totally creeped out… which means you did your job well. 😉

  18. Trully chilling. And more so because it’s a credible scenario, a true tale, horrible as that is. It happens.
